Portraits
Portraiture offers its own world of possibilities, from insights into the subject, to interesting visual dialogs with the viewer, to something that you just like to view. I don’t frequently engage in portraiture, but when I do, I find it both challenging and rewarding.

Black Dog (2021)
In many cultures, a black dog is a metaphor for depression or lack of will. Putting sunglasses on the dog adds an element of whimsy, rejecting or minimizing that notion.
